We wanted to do something fun together the day before Easter. Nothing too elaborate, just something to spend time together as a family. We decided to pack up a picnic lunch and head to the park. It was perfect. I don't know why we don't do things like this more often. It really is the small things in life.
It was about to start raining so we headed back home for our Easter baskets. I think this is definitely the most excited I've been about a basket. Ethan and I picked up this pull-string Woody at a consignment and we knew Nixon would LOVE it. I had been waiting and waiting to see his reaction and it was just what I wanted!
Pure joy. He hasn't stopped playing with it, and I couldn't be more excited!
