Here's a conversation I've had recently Nixon.

Me: Nixon would you rather have a sandwich or cheese and crackers?

Nixon: ...Jibberish...

Me: Nixon, sandwich or cheese and crackers

Nixon: ...More jibberish...

Me: Sandwich or crackers. Crackers?

Nixon: No, no, no.. HONEY!!

Me: Oh, peanut butter and honey?

Nixon: Yes.

Communication.. not our strong suit. 

Mother's Day

I don't know why, but Mother's Day holds a special place in my heart. I wonder if it's because Nixon was supposed to be due on Mothers day, but luckily I got an early present, the best one ever! I love the idea of celebrating mothers of all kind!

My mom is second to no mom!! She's amazing and the perfect mom for me. I wish so much to be able to spend more time with her. She's no doubt my best friend.

My mother-in-law Sarah is another great woman. She raised my husband, and I'm so grateful for all that she has done for us. I'm also so grateful to have been able to build the relationship I have with her.

Happy Mother's Day to every mother out there. You are amazing, and you hold a sacred and special calling.
